GPU Power

Color grading power is carried out using GPU technology whereby up to three GPUs may be added to provide exceptional power for standard and high definition projects.

The Heart of Resolve

The user will quickly notice that nodes are the heart of Resolve. Each node which is added to system will add another channel of color correction to the system. Up to four windows may be applied in each node and the number of nodes are unlimited.

Stereoscopic 3D

Resolve contains an impressive array of 3D Stereoscopic tools which allow the user to register and grade both streams in real time.

Camera Formats

Whether you’re working with Arri Alexa, Phantom, RED or Sony, Resolve can easily handle the situation. The system allows you to alter codec settings or even import look up tables.

Windows Tracking

Resolve has the most powerful windows tracking tool on the market. Up to 200 points can be automatically or manually added to provide the user with perfect window shape tracking.

Record without Rendering

Generally with other systems on the market, when you finish your project and would like to record to tape, you first need to render. This is not the case with Resolve. Simply access the PowerMastering feature which will allow you to play directly to tape without the need of rendering.

Image Reference

A fantastic tool for the colorist is the ability to look at reference images for matching color grades. This is done within Resolve using the Gallery. The Gallery can not only show you a full resolution image which is stored but it can also show you the contents of the color correction so that you can copy entire color correction settings or just selections.

With all these features and more, you’ll quickly learn why DaVinci Resolve has become a standard of excellence throught out the post production industry.
